Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction

Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction

It’s okay to talk about problems if you are approaching it with an attitude of looking for solutions, but to wallow in pity or to go over and over and over the bad stuff with no regard to what you can do (or someone else can do) to improve or help the situation helps no one. Negativity breeds more of the same, while positive thought, focusing on the good things going on in your life will tend to bring more of the good things. Being thankful for all that is good in your life is the fastest way to having more good come to you. I see it/feel it happen in my own life daily. ~ Pamela Rae

Sharing our problems is different than focusing on them all the time. Accepting the bad with the good and realizing positive is much better than dwelling on negative. A lot of people get stuck in the “poor me” attitude, blaming others all the time and not taking responsibility for their own part in their issues. Being held accountable by a true friend is what everyone needs! ~ Diane Merrow
